Depression and anxiety
People describe depression in many different ways: a feeling of numbness and hopelessness, being unable to find direction in their life, always wanting to be isolated. Depression is different from person to person, but everyone can agree that it’s a feeling that is both unwanted and hard to get rid of.
In the same vein, people describe anxiety in many different ways: being unable to slow the world down, feeling misunderstood, and feeling like the world is against us.
Even though depression and anxiety can commonly be found together, they can reside within us one at a time, too.
Finding a way to calm those storms can be done in many unique ways, whether it be treated with cognition-based therapies, acceptance therapies, or solution-focused therapies, to name a few. We will collaborate to find what works for you and how to find your way to your strengths again.
